Scottish Ski Club has been producing printed journals since shortly after its inauguration in 1907, and these are sent annually to every member. These have captured not just the adventures of club members but provide a unique insight into ski-ing and its development over the last century.
The journals begin in an era, decades before lift served ski-ing in Scotland even began. They include advice on routes and kit selection for tourers, with observations on the Scottish weather that are as valid today as they were then.
